The Hartford Consortium for Higher Education (HCHE)
Founded in 1972, the Hartford Consortium for Higher Education (HCHE) is a twelve-member organization in Hartford, CT: Capital Community College, Central Connecticut State University, Goodwin College, Manchester Community College, Hartford Seminary, St. Thomas Seminary, UCONN-Hartford, Trinity College, University of Saint Joseph and University of Hartford.
Affiliate members: Connecticut Public/WNPR/CPTV and TheaterWorks.
HCHE manages the following programs: Career Beginnings (high school program), Jr. Apprentice (high school program), the Center for Higher Education Retention Excellence and CareerPact.
